Do you feel stuck, like you can’t seem to move forward and progress and you don’t know why?

If you do, then it could just be a simple subconscious blockage. For example, you may want to be successful, but deep down you have fears and beliefs around this that are holding you back such as, the fear that you aren’t good enough, or that you will fail, or you may subconsciously think that if you get this success you want, things will change too much.

To make changes, you have to make the unfamiliar familiar and the familiar unfamiliar and subconsciously our brains are programmed to keep us safe and comfortable.

If you feel stuck and really do not know what it is or why you keep repeating back to the same mistakes and the same situation, sit down for 15 minutes, get a pad and ask these questions to uncover what is stopping you.

3 Questions to Ask to Discover What Is Holding You Back

Write down what is frustrating you

  1. What are the benefits of me staying in this situation?
  2. What are the benefits of me feeling sorry for myself?
  3. What are the benefits of me making excuses and staying the same?

Awareness is the key to change. Once you become aware of what your subconscious thoughts are, you can direct your focus to change them.

These small beliefs can affect all of the results.

Shift Your Focus

Now you have made the step to become aware, help ease anxiety and step into the feeling of feeling better. Write out “I am so grateful and thankful to be moving towards more clarity on (my current issue) and I’m glad it is working out in my favor and I now know the right thing to do.”

It’s your birthright to feel good, so when you are not feeling good use it as a sign to shift towards what you want.
